We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team, dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our payment processing application, with extensive experience in test planning, scenario creation, and automation.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases to ensure robust coverage
- Automate UI tests using Selenium/PlayWright for regression and performance testing
- Perform thorough API testing with Postman/RestAssured to validate endpoints
- Utilize Cucumber/TestNG for creating efficient and reusable test automation frameworks
- Debug and analyze defects using advanced logging tools like Splunk/AppInsights
- Strong expertise in writing splunk queries
- Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments to deliver high-quality software

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, JavaScript, or Python
- 4+ years of experience with SQL skills for performing detailed database testing
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub for seamless integration and deployment processes
- All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
