Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Specialist to join the Santa Ana site Quality Team. The role centers on monitoring, inspecting, and improving the incoming inspection process to meet strict quality standards, while supporting end-of-line supplier inspection and process improvements across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metrology and quality management, GD&T, and experience with AS9100/ISO9001.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years in metrology inspection or quality.
Experience with production support and quality management.
Proficiency with ERP/MES software and inspection data management software.
Knowledge of calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, etc.).
Understanding of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
Experience with AS9100/ISO9001/IATF16949 or similar QMS.
Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage the site MRB process.
Inspect to verify non-conforming parts at Santa Ana site and supplier sites.
Partner with Site SQE to support supplier quality control.
Assist in root cause analysis.
Dispostion non-conforming material and ensure timely closure.
Manage internal re-work to support dispositions.
Ensure accurate data collection for MRB and communicate performance to stakeholders.
Execute vendor RMAs to move material from MRB to suppliers.
Perform FAI verification on incoming material and coordinate data acceptance.
