Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality engineering or quality program leadership within complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in regulated quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, or government or defense-related inspections.
  • Demonstrated success leading root cause investigations and corrective action programs.
  • Experience managing supplier quality programs and improving supplier performance.
  • Background supporting electromechanical or hardware-based products.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt or similar continuous improvement certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Program Quality Leadership: Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to develop and implement quality strategies across product programs and manufacturing operations.
  • Quality Systems & Compliance: Support and maintain structured quality systems aligned with ISO and industry standards, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Root Cause & Corrective Action: Lead structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, and statistical analysis to address product, process, and supplier issues.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives. Support supplier audits, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Inspection & Risk Management: Develop inspection plans, control strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks to improve product reliability and reduce manufacturing defects.
  • Performance Analytics: Build and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting to drive data-based decisions and operational improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product engineering, manufacturing teams, and external partners to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
