Job summary

Kendall Howard LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer in Minnesota to support development and implementation of product and process quality controls across manufacturing. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure quality standards are understood and maintained throughout manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, industrial technology, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing involving assembly, machining, welding, or finishing.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, inspection methods, root cause analysis, and basic QMS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production, engineering, purchasing, suppliers, customers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality requirements for manufactured products.
• Create inspection plans, control plans, check sheets, and first article docs.
• Translate drawings and GD&T into inspection and process controls.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data and trends to drive improvements.
• Support NPI and production readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality.
• Participate in material review and containment recommendations.
• Document supplier nonconformances and verify corrective actions.
• Develop measurement methods and data collection practices.
• Conduct process audits and quality system checks.
• Prepare quality reports and improvement plans.
• Provide guidance to QA Technicians and production staff.
