Job summary

Amcor Hazleton is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing plant floor operations by ensuring ISO 22000/22002 compliance and driving quality improvements. Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, you will perform validations, support SPC, FMEA, DOE, audits, and continuous improvement activities to uphold Amcor's quality management system and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Two or more years of Quality Engineering Experience (medical or food flexible packaging preferred).
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred or willingness to pursue

Responsibilities

• Assists with process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and product validations per customer requirements.
• Analyzes failures and supports preventive and corrective actions.
• Facilitates FMEA and conducts DOE.
• Tracks quality metrics and reports trends.
• Supports continual improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, lean).
• Supports SPC implementation and sustainment.
• Assists in engineering change orders and IQS processes.
• Participates in audits and CAPA reporting.
• Develops validations, FMEA, root cause analysis, Gauge R&R, and DOE.
