Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring for a Quality Engineer to develop, modify and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for materials and products in a manufacturing setting. You will lead root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with QMS, regulatory requirements, and continuous process improvement across production lines.

Applicants should have a university degree and at least two years of related experience in quality

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with quality management system (QMS) tools, quality engineering methods, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and communication within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior work experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with statistical methods and tools for quality analysis.
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
