Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence in a growing electro-mechanical manufacturing environment in New Jersey. The role emphasizes Lean initiatives, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold compliance and performance.

You will lead structured problem-solving methods, facilitate PFMEA, implement poka-yoke solutions, and maintain robust quality documentation and audits. A Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Experience leading root cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA and related methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem-solving initiatives using PDCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D.
• Facilitate PFMEA and integrate findings into control plans and inspection plans.
• Implement poka-yoke solutions and conduct Gage R&R evaluations.
• Maintain KPI tracking, defect monitoring, and escalation processes.
• Support AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems and audits.
• Lead supplier quality initiatives including supplier CAPA and performance monitoring.
• Prepare Certificates of Conformance and First Article Inspection packages.
• Provide quality input during design reviews and manufacturing improvement projects.
