The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree, extensive quality/manufacturing knowledge, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time on-site position based in Memphis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
  • Metallurgical experience required for root-cause analysis.
  • NDT Level 2 with Magnaflux equipment experience.
  • Auditing knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent is preferred.
  • Understanding of heat treatment, forging, and plastics molding.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees implementation and effectiveness of current quality systems.
  • Meets with customers to negotiate quality standards and perform APQP on new programs.
  • Manages quality technicians and day-to-day quality department activities.
  • Reports corporate KPIs monthly.
  • Ensures compliance with ISO standards and AAR regulations.
