Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to support installation-site quality activities, lead a small pod of Quality/Process Technicians and a Test Technician, and drive daily quality outcomes with CAPA insights.

You will act as the primary liaison between the customer site and internal manufacturing and engineering teams, own daily execution rhythms, and ensure accurate reporting and accountability for quality goals across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Quality Engineering or quality-focused leadership within manufacturing, deployment, or field installation environments.
• 1+ years experience working with CAPA processes, defect trending, and structured inspection methodologies.
• 1+ years experience leading or coordinating technician teams (direct or indirect).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Any of the following certifications (ASQ CQE, CMQ QE, CAPM or PMP).
• 1+ year experience supporting commissioning or validation activities.
• Exposure to automation, robotics, or electromechanical systems.
• Formal quality training or certifications (ASQ CQE, Lean/Six Sigma) with 2+ years practical application.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small pod of Quality/Process Technicians and a Test Technician.
• Coordinate inspection, rework, and daily customer communications for installation-site quality activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer site and internal manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Own daily execution rhythms, reporting, and accountability for quality outcomes.
