Job summary

PNC is seeking a Quality Engineer Lead in its Retail Tech organization. The position is based in Dallas, TX, with in-office expectations. The role leads test strategy and risk management, mentors junior team members, and delivers clear test reports to technology leaders and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant QA experience, strong collaboration skills, and a focus on quality assurance throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Leads test strategy development and reviews, aligning with project goals and testing scope.

• Delivers test summary reports for technology leaders, governance/risk, and stakeholders.
• Collaborates across teams; participates in Quality Engineer CoP for continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Leads the development and review of test strategies and plans to ensure alignment with project goals, including scope, tools, and testing approaches. Provides guidance to more junior team members regarding testing needs.


• Identifies and addresses resource and environment gaps, escalating unresolved or recurring issues to appropriate Quality Engineer leadership.


• Monitors and manages testing risks and defects, ensuring they meet ECO standards and are accurately reported.


• Prepares and delivers test summary reports and documentation for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and business stakeholders.


• Collaborates across teams and participate in Quality Engineer CoP meetings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
