Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and execute quality control across the production process, drive audits, and ensure ISO standards are met. The role demands collaboration with production, engineering, and procurement teams to uphold quality objectives.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and several years of manufacturing/quality experience with leadership exposure. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for process optimization

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline; plus 3 years in manufacturing and quality control; 3+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawing and/or tools.
• Understanding of server level component design and computer system integration.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.
• Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.
• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Coordinate UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) and other regulatory factory audits.
• Conduct regular conference calls with customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.
• Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.
• Perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.
