Job summary

Strata Products Worldwide, LLC, a global leader in industrial safety and connected solutions, seeks a Quality Engineer to drive ISO-aligned quality across products and suppliers. Based in Canonsburg, PA, you will lead audits, improve processes, and ensure compliance through QMS enhancements, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a engineering degree and 2+ years in quality management within manufacturing, with CQE/CQA or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality management within the industrial tech/manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated experience with ISO certification processes and quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience in managing quality in contract manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, etc.) and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and update the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 and other standards.
• Conduct audits, internal and external, to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Participate in ISO certification processes and maintain documentation for certification.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Monitor internal repair processes and maintain repair history.
• Oversee and update the RMA process and report trends.
• Lead Corrective Action process.
• Audit quality systems of contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Ensure in-house and contract-manufactured products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate QMS into the business strategy.
• Communicate quality issues and initiatives to management and stakeholders.
