Job summary

SPX is a global leader in HVAC and industrial solutions seeking a Quality Engineer for our Olathe, Kansas site. You will develop, maintain and improve ISO documentation and procedures, support product development, audits and customer inspections, and drive quality improvements with engineering and production teams.

The role includes internal audits, calibration management, data analysis, and staff training to sustain world-class quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in ISO or AS9100 certified production environments.
• Six Sigma leadership and ASQ CQE/CQA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead product quality assurance to ensure conformance to standards and specifications.
• Drive improvements through design and assembly manuals; support ISO audits.
• Support calibration system and internal audit program.
• Provide training and coaching to production teams on quality practices.
• Evaluate supplier products and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Analyze process data to identify defects and drive preventive actions.
