Job summary

Qnergy Inc in Ogden, UT is seeking a Quality Engineer to assure the quality of manufactured products. The QE works with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve processes and ensure products meet customer expectations while keeping costs in check.

Responsibilities include designing quality standards, leading audits, performing root cause analysis, and driving CAPA and NCR activities. Strong communication and GD&T knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or related field; 7+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
• 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in GD&T; CMM programming preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design quality standards and establish criteria for product quality in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Develop capable processes with efficiency in mind.
• Provide leadership, coaching and training on the production floor.
• Ensure written procedures and documentation are followed throughout Operations.
• Schedule and conduct internal audits and report findings.
• Conduct NCR investigations and drive CAPA.
• Lead quality improvement projects.
