Job summary

DENSO in Maryville, TN is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of outsourced mechanical parts and sub-materials. You’ll monitor supplier performance, support problem investigations, and drive cross-functional improvements with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of quality/engineering experience, strong communication skills, and travel up to 20%. Automotive quality systems knowledge (TS16949/IATF) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent quality experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written) required.
• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing, quality, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality of outsourced mechanical parts and sub-materials per Denso standards.
• Monitor, develop, and manage supplier quality systems.
• Support problem investigations internally and at suppliers.
• Provide engineering support to inspection departments.
• Drive quality improvements with supplier and internal cross-functional teams.
