Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Quality Engineer to support disciplined problem solving for supplier, customer, and internal quality defects. You will understand product processes and drive improvements, communicating analysis clearly across departments.

You will apply DOE, FMEA, and Gage R&R studies while aiding lean initiatives and process validation. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of related experience, or advanced degree with equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand and apply engineering/mathematical concepts.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents.
• Experience with DOE, correlation/ regression analysis, and R&R studies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Investigates root cause solutions for product release through NCR, CAPA, MCH and ALH.
• Supports quality across departments regarding product quality and deviations.
• Recommends preventive measures to manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and other departments.
• Analyzes reports and data for process improvements and corrective actions.
• Leads process improvement projects; conducts studies, validation, data collection.
• Assists QE and others in implementing lean principles.
• Uses basic statistical techniques, DOE, HACCP, and FMEA; conducts Gage R&R studies.
• Escalates issues to supervisor as needed.
• Assists with other projects as assigned.
