Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Quality Engineer II for a Glendale, AZ assignment. The role focuses on applying engineering principles to ensure product and process quality, with emphasis on design, testing, and compliance with standards.

You will develop and maintain QA systems, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, and implement inspection and testing procedures while conducting statistical analysis to identify defects and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years in MFG quality or process engineering.
• Proficient in DMAIC, 8D and 5-Why methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains quality evaluation systems and protocols for processing materials into finished products.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
• Devises and implements inspection, testing and evaluation methods for precision and accuracy of products and equipment.
• Designs and analyzes inspection/testing processes; conducts QA tests and statistical analysis.
• Audits quality systems for deficiencies and drives corrective actions.
• Ensures documentation is compliant with requirements.
