Activities include monitoring various elements of operations quality, problem solving to correct issues, and reporting results. This individual will exercise a high level of independent judgment using a considerable amount of creativity, initiative and determination. This individual will lead focused teams and will drive corrective action, preventative action and continuous improvement activities on a variety of tasks.**Key Responsibilities:*** Collect, analyze, document, and develop corrective action strategies for internal and external quality related issues.* Organize, coordinate, and interface with OEM’s regarding parts and transmission concerns.* Coordinate continuous improvement activities and corrective action activities to closure.* Provide professional reports on quality investigations, findings, and results.* Develop and/or complete plant reliability tests to analyze and solve problems.* Analyze product and process design to prevent and correct problems.* Develop, conduct, and complete required reliability, process and product audits. Participate in TS16949 audits.* Communicate and coordinate activities with cross-functional organizations.* Implements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.* Implement good housekeeping standards.* Other duties as assigned.**Key Performance Measures:*** Safety* Quality* Cost* Productivity* Responsiveness**Competencies and Behaviors:****Required:*** **Adhering to the highest standards in what we do**.
