Job summary

Medtronic Fort Worth is seeking a Quality Engineer to support spine surgery medical device manufacturing. You will drive product and process quality, investigate nonconformances, and support CAPAs while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and other cross-functional teams to improve process capability and product reliability, and to implement quality improvement initiatives on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 2+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 0+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocol for processing materials into finished products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devise and implement inspection, testing and evaluating methods for products and production equipment.
  • Design inspection and testing mechanisms; conduct quality assurance tests; perform statistical analyses.
  • Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation complies with requirements.
  • May specialize in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation or reliability as they apply to quality.

As a Quality Engineer at Medtronic Fort Worth, you will work at the forefront of spine surgery medical device manufacturing, supporting manufacturing operations by driving product and process quality, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to investigate nonconformances, support corrective and preventive actions, and improve process capability and product reliability.
