Eliassen Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to support testing and reliability of enterprise IAM systems. You will build automated testing frameworks, validate data-driven systems, and work across APIs, cloud, and CI/CD with a software engineering mindset.

Hybrid role in Burbank, CA, requiring 5+ years QA experience and strong scripting (Python/JavaScript). W2 benefits, medical/dental/vision, 401k, and life insurance included.

Competenze

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering or Software QA experience.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks.
• Scripting or programming with Python and/or JavaScript.
• Testing experience for complex, data-driven systems with data integrity and performance benchmarks.
• Knowledge of IAM and security standards and technologies (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, APIs).
• Understanding of secure engineering practices (secrets management, encrypted transport).
• Experience with Git, Jira, and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
• Experience with relational, document, and graph databases.
• Understanding of SSDLC, Agile methodologies, risk assessment and mitigation.
• Strong communication with developers and tech leaders.
• Analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Description:

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the testing and reliability of enterprise Identity & Access Management systems. The role requires a software engineering approach to quality, building automated testing frameworks and validating complex, data-driven systems. The position combines QA automation, IAM and security technologies, APIs, cloud, and CI/CD, with emphasis on testing predictive or adaptive system behavior.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $80.30 to $90.30/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for complex, data-driven, and adaptive systems.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools supporting CI/CD.
• Partner with developers, architects, product managers, and data teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform exploratory testing, risk analysis, performance benchmarking, and data and model validation.
• Promote test-driven development, shift-left testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Validate system behavior under dynamic and non-deterministic conditions.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering or Software QA experience.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks.
• Scripting or programming with Python and/or JavaScript.
• Testing experience for complex, data-driven systems, including data integrity, model validation, and performance benchmarking.
• Knowledge of IAM and security standards and technologies, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and APIs.
