Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of quality control experience within automotive manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience with IATF 16949:2016.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications and drawings.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support compliance with IATF 16949 and applicable ISO standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams through quality issues and structured problem-solving efforts.
• Validate supplier product quality using control plans, inspection criteria, and sampling procedures.
• Develop and implement quality system improvements that align with business goals.
• Conduct and support internal and external quality system audits.
• Verify that corrective actions and countermeasures effectively resolve quality issues.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, Flow Charts, and Process Capability Studies.
• Review engineering specifications, drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Split time between an open office environment and the plant floor.
