Job summary

Brose North America Inc in Michigan seeks a quality specialist to be the main contact for customer quality issues during series production. You will drive corrective actions, ensure compliance with IATF16949 and AIAG standards, and support continuous improvement using TopQ, SAP, and other corporate tools.

This role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and data-driven problem solving across production, engineering and supply chain to reduce warranty claims and improve process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 0–3 years related experience in seat system assembly or quality.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems including IATF16949.
• Knowledge of AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, LPA) & CQI standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Main contact for customer for all quality related issues during series production.
• Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions for all customer issues (0-km & warranty).
• Ensure compliance of quality to all required standards including customer-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular warranty reviews ensuring corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate error prevention, continuous improvement and problem solving using corporate tools.
• Update SAP Quality Module & TopQ Sharepoint with complaints.
• Perform process capability studies to validate characteristics.
• Evaluate failure risk analysis with production and development teams for new launches.
• Publish lessons learned and communicate to North America and Global committees.
• Develop and perform monthly quality metrics reporting to plant and corporate management.
• Perform Engineering Change evaluation and tracking reports for plant and Nafta.
• Carry out ongoing scrap analysis and scrap reduction activities.
