Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support quality requirements, data analysis, and process improvements across products. You will assist with product inspections, design for quality, and training as part of a cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, adherence to ISO 9001, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering to drive quality improvements. A Bachelor’s degree and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• 1+ years of demonstrated success in an electronics quality position.
• Proficient English abilities required.
• Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of tools and methods related to inspection and analysis (prefer computer environment).
• Proven experience in successful problem solving.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Preferred certifications: Six sigma green belt, CQE.
• Preferred training and certifications: IPC-610, IPC7711/7721.

Responsibilities

• Assists developing, applying and maintaining quality requirements.
• Collects data and performs statistical analysis of processes for continuous improvement.
• Provides special testing, process capability studies, repeatability studies.
• Assists with preparation of instructions and procedures for inspection of products.
• Assists new product introduction, process readiness and training.
• Partners with cross functional teams to initiate product improvements.
• Assists with continuous improvement activities.
• Recommends process and/or design improvements including: failure analysis methods, corrective actions, material and component analysis and changes.
• Assists as directed to meet department goals and ISO 9001 requirements.
