Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global lift truck manufacturer, seeks a Quality Engineer at the Troy Plant. The role focuses on analyzing product and process issues to maximize quality and manufacturability, while supporting supplier conformance and ISO 9000 processes.

Collaboration with engineering and production is essential. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or two-year degree with 3 years’ experience; ASQ certification preferred.
• Non-degree considered with 12+ years of related experience and HS diploma/GED.
• Strong communication and teamwork; proficient MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product, process, equipment and method issues to maximize conformance and manufacturability.
• Support supplier conformance through supplier audits and SQE collaboration.
• Participate in development efforts to prevent nonconforming product.
• Provide process efficiency input to manufacturing engineering and production management.
• Provide method design and impact analysis to manufacturing engineering and management.
• Assist in ISO 9000 implementation and maintain quality system documentation.
• Provide equipment capability analysis and qualification input.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvements with Unit Quality Manager.
