Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading lift truck manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support process technology and drive improvements across the plant. You will lead small projects, coordinate equipment procurement, and contribute to product introductions while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years related experience.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must drive a personal vehicle and travel locally (<20% per week).
• Must demonstrate good communication among shop floor, staff, and leadership.
• Able to lead small teams and projects.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to train others.
• Physical and mental demands typical of an office environment with some lifting and stair climbing.

Responsibilities

• Support current process technology and implement improvements to department/plant operations based on analysis of capacity, cost, safety and risk.
• Prepare project justifications including recommendations, make-vs-buy analysis, layout, cost impact and schedule activities.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, and process capability prove-out; provide training and documentation.
• Contribute to the product introduction process.
• Review production problems and develop solutions; generate reports and management presentations.
