Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Quality Engineer I to help ensure product quality and reliability for Building Automation solutions. You will support QA activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier processes.

The role focuses on improving product quality, ensuring compliance with standards, and contributing to a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing or building automation.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies including RCA and CAPA.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA and audit procedures.
• Experience with quality documentation and MS Office.

In this role, you will impact the quality and performance of Honeywell Building Automation products by ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving improvements in manufacturing and supplier processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and testing to ensure product compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier teams to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in data collection and analysis to monitor quality metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role, preferably within manufacturing or building automation industries.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, including root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and audit procedures.
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

WE VALUE

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or certification.
• Knowledge of supplier quality management and audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and industry standards.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $63,900 - $79,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
