Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality systems.
• Experience in Quality Assurance.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute quality assurance and quality control processes for dormakaba product lines.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions on quality issues and customer complaints.
• Support new product introductions by developing and implementing quality plans and process capability studies.
• Develop and improve inspection and testing procedures to ensure product and process compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material and component quality and support corrective actions.

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Quality Engineer I based in Reamstown, PA. The Quality Engineer I is responsible for leading, identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects. The role will identify best practices, processes, and standard work to achieve quality/manufacturing strategy to ensure consistent high-quality results.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop and execute quality assurance and quality control processes for dormakaba product lines
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities on internal quality issues and customer complaints
• Support new product introductions by developing and implementing quality plans, control plans, and process capability studies
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve inspection and testing procedures to ensure product and process compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material and component quality, addressing issues and supporting corrective actions as needed

• Experience working in Quality Assurance
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings
