Job summary

Thomas Electronics, headquartered in Clyde, New York, seeks a motivated Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet customer specs, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. You will drive quality improvement, lead investigations, and support new product introductions in a high-reliability manufacturing environment.

Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, you will lead CAPA activities, perform SPC and data analysis, and contribute to supplier quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial, quality engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain QMS per ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and customer requirements.
• Lead investigations and problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA).
• Develop and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze data to identify trends and improve quality and process capability.
• Support ECO/ECNs and configuration management.
• Assist with internal/customer/certification audits.
