Job summary

ASCO Industries is seeking an EQ Engineer to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate process stability before series production. The role includes validating control plans, routings, ATS, and control cards, while reviewing customer requirements to ensure clear, measurable plans.

You will also create control plans and validate measurement tools with cross-functional teams. The EQ Engineer will work with the Engineering Quality & Validation group, applying PFMEA and SPC methodologies,

Qualifications

0 to 2 years’ experience.
Experience in industrial production or product development and design.
In-depth knowledge of the product and process.
In-depth knowledge of one or more quality systems; attention to safety; strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Team spirit.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Willingness to travel is an asset.

Responsibilities

Carry out FAI (First Article Inspection) and related files (DVI, EFAE, DVE).
Validate control plans for all parts and deltas.
Validate routings and ATS (Asco Technical Sheets) for polishing and assembly.
Validate ASCO Control Cards for deltas and parts.
Review customer requirements and ensure plans are correct, complete and measurable.
Create Control Plans with the team for inspection, production control and measurement strategy.
Validate CMM programs and control tools; organize MSA studies with CQE.
Participate in PFMEA and support SPC implementation.
Provide support to other sites within the Asco group.
