Job summary

Toyota Manufacturing in Indiana is seeking a passionate Quality Engineer to maintain and improve supplier quality as well as overall vehicle quality. Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead cross‑functional initiatives, establish and maintain quality standards, and drive improvements with suppliers and internal teams to ensure top‑tier vehicle reliability.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Applied Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (co-op/intern or full-time).
• Project management experience including leading, prioritizing, milestones, consensus, and status reporting.
• Driving required; motor vehicle record acceptable by company standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier activities to confirm and improve parts quality.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve overall vehicle quality.
• Establish and maintain part and vehicle quality standards.
• Lead problem-solving related to design, manufacturing, and inspection processes.
• Manage process and design changes at suppliers and Toyota Manufacturing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Share and adopt best practices for internal and external processes.
