Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an early-career Quality Engineer for an on-site role in Ellwood City, PA. The position focuses on hands-on exposure to quality systems, continuous improvement, and manufacturing processes for recent graduates or those with limited experience.

You will support the Quality Management System, participate in Lean projects, assist with audits, analyze data, and help with SPC initiatives, root-cause analysis, and documentation. ISO/ Nadcap familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Quality, Statistical Analysis, or related area (four-year welcome).
• Interest in quality, manufacturing, data analysis, statistics, metallurgy, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Management System and quality standards.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist with internal quality audits and corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing and quality data.
• Support SPC initiatives and create graphs, reports, and diagrams.
• Help investigate problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Assist with procedures, documentation, training, and other quality-related projects.
