Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Tonawanda, NY manufacturing environment. This direct-hire role focuses on quality assurance, process improvement, and ensuring customer specifications are met.

You’ll support the Quality Management System, diagnose production issues, manage NCRs, perform inspections, and collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive root-cause corrective actions and product quality plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field or equivalent.
• 3 years in a quality role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Epicor experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports and promotes the Quality Management System across the company.
• Diagnose and solve emergent production issues; perform inspections as necessary.
• Owns the NCR system and drives corrective actions; communicates with inspection, production, procurement, engineering and vendors.
• Performs failure evaluations, determines root cause, and implements corrective action.
• Collaborates with suppliers for audits, qualifications, and on-site inspections as needed.
