Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our quality team in Hausach, Germany. You will drive analysis and resolution of quality deviations, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes.

You will lead internal audits, manage CAQ systems and customer portals, and work closely with customers and production. Fluent English and German, plus strong analytical and communication skills, are essential.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, quality management, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • At least two years of experience in quality management, ideally with customer contact.
  • Solid knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, 5-Why) and standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
  • Proficient with CAQ systems and customer/quality portals.
  • Strong ability to independently manage topics, make decisions, and follow through.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and monitor customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze quality deviations and perform structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why).
  • Manage internal and external quality and customer portals.
  • Monitor customer scorecards and drive improvements.
  • Oversee release and blocking processes for products and components.
  • Prepare KPI analyses and report to management and customers.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits and support external audits.
  • Ensure proper handling of quality complaints in CAQ and customer systems.
