Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. Grand Rapids plant is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead PPAP, drive continuous quality improvements, and ensure ISO/IATF compliance. You will work with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to deliver quality products that meet stringent standards.

You will analyze data, implement corrective actions, train staff in inspection and documentation, and mentor other quality auditors. Opportunity to impact plant-wide quality culture.

Qualifications

• Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
• 3–5 years automotive quality experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, GR&R, IMDS.
• Proficiency with data analysis and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PPAP process and related activities.
• Detect root causes and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Review customer testing requirements and ensure compliance.
• Oversee calibration programs and maintain measurement system records.
• Support supplier quality and PPAP approvals; manage vendor returns as needed.
• Collect SPC data and report monthly; drive process improvements.
