Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a quality professional to lead the quality system, support APQP, PPAP, FMEA and control plans, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering and suppliers to assure high quality across products. You will review drawings, track engineering changes, lead capability studies, train teams, and drive preventive actions to ensure first-time quality in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Quality system knowledge and experience in automotive quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical liaison and consultation between Manufacturing and Quality on quality systems, procedures and QA implementation.
• Organize and direct interaction of customer complaints and respond to external/internal audits.
• Review prints and specifications to ensure quality reliability requirements and track ECNs (engineering changes).
• Lead capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and process potential studies; train QA and manufacturing personnel.
• Develop and lead PPAPs on new and modified products and maintain the Quality System.
