Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality design and development, support the Product Development Process, and sustain manufacturing excellence in New York. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet regulatory and customer expectations.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, design validation, process quality improvements, and post-market support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing or product development.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, product development processes, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in risk management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Certification in quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Quality Design and Development activities.
Participate in PDP planning, execution, and quality assurance measures for new products.
Provide ongoing quality support to sustaining manufacturing teams and lead RCA and CAPA.
Ensure quality during product distribution and support post-market surveillance.
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards and prepare necessary documentation.
