Job summary

IS International is seeking a Quality Engineer in Savannah, GA to improve manufacturing and service operations through quality management principles. You will support the Quality Management System (QMS) processes and ensure customer and corporate satisfaction by driving data‑driven improvements.

The role requires a technical BS, 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, strong math and data analysis skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical discipline preferred; 1–3 years in mechanical component manufacturing required.
• Strong math skills: algebra, statistics, data analysis.
• Ability to interpret data, graphs, and complex instructions.
• Data-driven problem solving and measurement.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or support part and process qualifications.
• Analyze data to reduce non-conformances and streamline processes.
• Develop and approve inspection plans; perform inspections as needed.
• Maintain QMS documentation and quality records.
• Track quality metrics and manage QNs through closure.
• Support quality audits and training initiatives.
• Foster cross-functional teamwork to meet goals.
