Job summary

Qualifications

• Residence in commuting range to Lake Forest facility
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical/Mechanical and/or technology fields with 5+ years in quality or engineering or R&D
• Solid experience in failure analysis on electrical components
• Knowledge in PCB/PCBA production and semiconductor production preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook, List) and Power BI
• Motivated to improve quality assurance capabilities
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines with a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with IPC quality standards
• Experience with FMEA (design, production)
• Data tool design skills are a plus
• This is an onsite position in Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities

• Improving quality of processes and control documents to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
• Participating in MRB activities and balancing quality improvement with production time
• Using issue databases and Power BI for quality trend analysis and action tracking
• Identify process inefficiencies, quality risks, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities
• Investigate and drive resolution of quality issues from production, suppliers, field, and customers
• Support root cause investigations and CAPA activities with verification of effectiveness
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, Operations, and PM to resolve issues
• All other duties as assigned
