Job summary

PSI is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive defect prevention through robust process controls and data-driven continuous improvement. The role partners with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, and corrective action systems that improve product quality and manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles.
• ASQ CQE certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PFMEAs and process risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Analyze quality trends, escapes, and defect data.
• Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies.
• Develop quality dashboards and metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and COPQ reduction initiatives.
• Support manufacturing readiness and process validation activities.
