Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate, document, and report quality activities for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA. The role involves maintaining inspection plans, conducting field inspections, and ensuring compliance with specifications.

You will support subcontractors, generate trend reports, and participate in digitizing quality records. A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience or a higher level of experience with a HS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of quality experience, or alternative with 7+ years in quality.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System is required.
• Construction/Design-Build project experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, document, and report quality activities for the project.
• Ensure inspection and testing documentation is completed and filed accurately.
• Maintain ITPs for construction activities and verify hold/witness points.
• Perform routine field inspections for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Support subcontractors in meeting quality requirements.
• Generate reports highlighting trends and corrective actions.
• Assist in digitalizing quality records and daily progress reporting.
• Conduct off-site inspections at suppliers' yards as needed.
• Analyze corrective and preventive actions and record incidents.
