A Quality Engineer in the automotive sector is sought to support production operations, driving quality improvements toward zero defects. You will oversee product quality, apply APQP, and verify changes for external customers, with a focus on process capability and training to prevent mistakes.

Qualifications include a engineering degree, 2+ years in automotive quality, and knowledge of QS-9000/TS-16949. Relocation benefits are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering.
• At least 2 years in a quality role in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of QS-9000 and TS-16949 quality standards.
• Experience with problem solving methodologies such as 5 Why, 8-D, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integrity of product quality and drive quality improvements.
• Provide analysis, guidance and support within process improvement activities.
• Responsible for New Product Qualifications, verification of changes, and APQP support for external customers.
• Develop and implement training for mistake-proofing throughout manufacturing.
• Utilize root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
