Job summary

Vitro's Crestline, OH Automotive Glass plant is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the local team and drive Best-in-Class Quality. You will lead quality initiatives, plan improvements, and ensure compliance with Vitro, customer, and governmental quality specifications and regulations.

You will partner with the Quality Manager and plant staff to analyze in-process and finished-product data, support audits (IATF16949, CC, FMVSS), and develop robust quality controls that improve product quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial quality control or related function.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 standards and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant quality initiatives and audits (IATF16949, CC, InMetro, etc.).
• Analyze quality data from in-process and outgoing production with documentation and charts.
• Develop and maintain current and long-range quality objectives and QC systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Manager and shift supervisors on procedures and quality levels.
• Provide leadership, professionalism, and teamwork to the Quality Control team.
