Job summary

CSP in Huntington, NY is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will lead APQP activities, review process controls, and ensure products meet customer specifications while supporting IATF16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, with strong communication, math and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read GD&T and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to resolve conflicts.
• Reading and interpreting GD&T and applying it to manufacturing.
• Experience with problem-solving techniques and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP efforts and manage customer and supplier quality relations.
• Review and update process flow diagrams and control plans.
• Develop, document, and implement quality improvements in manufacturing.
• Read and interpret GD&T and apply tolerance analysis as needed.
• Coordinate internal product sorts, quality alerts, and corrective actions.
• Train employees on quality issues and setup for continuous improvement.
