Job summary

Meyer Tool in Greenville, SC is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. You will participate in APQP activities, develop and maintain quality procedures, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to sustain a culture of quality.

The role requires strong knowledge of GD&T, Minitab, and root-cause analysis, with a focus on audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or an associate degree with manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and lean methodologies.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or similar training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions.
• Lead APQP activities (FAI, FMEA, PFD, MSA, Control Plan, Run @ Rate, 8D).
• Manage qualification requirements and submission packages to customers.
• Support QMS and internal audits for AS9100 and related standards.
• Review POs and ensure QMS flow-down requirements are met.
• Interpret customer specifications and translate into operation instructions.
• Create inspection instructions and validate inspection methods.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in process routing development and wearables for approvals.
• Support change management to ensure quality, reliability, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with production and engineering for training and readiness.
• Participate in customer audits and meetings.
