Title: Quality Engineer - Aerospace Mfg

Location: Springboro, OH 45066

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

Founded in 1952, we are a trusted name in precision machining pursuing our mission of as a dedicated defense contractor specializing in intricate manufacturing for ordnance, and space applications. Our Springboro location specializes in Prototype, Development Support Services, Tool Work, Inspection Support and Design Support for manufacturability or producibility. Almost every type of machining can be done in this one facility. We are looking to hire a Quality Engineer with aerospace experience to help drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality across our operations.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems
  • Determine quality improvement factors, identify and resolve production issues
  • Lead and manage projects, including the integration of new products, installation of new equipment, and upgrades
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process workflows, SOPs, and technical reports
  • Prepare production data reports through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
What You Need For This Position
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 2+ years as a Quality Engineer in the Aerospace or Defense sectors
  • AS9102 First Article Inspection experience
  • Continuous Improvement - Lean/Six Sigma
  • Precision Machining
