Job summary

Alleima Special Metals in Kennewick, Washington, seeks a Quality Engineer to lead quality planning for new and existing products, drive process validation and risk assessment, and ensure robust documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 4+ years of quality engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience leading APQP/PPAP, FMEA, control plans, validation, and FAI.
• Experience with quality management systems, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance using data to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Lab, and customer teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Review inspection and testing results to ensure compliance with specs and customer requirements.
• Support audits and address findings; work with suppliers to improve performance.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and traceability.
