Job summary

Creare, a leading engineering research and development firm in Hanover, NH, seeks a Quality Engineer to report to the QA Director and drive direct project execution. The role collaborates with QA Managers and teams to meet rigorous contract standards and ensure quality across projects.

Responsibilities include translating requirements for project teams, guiding engineers and inspectors, and leading customer QA audits while maintaining ISO 9001 and AS9100 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution; 3–5+ years in aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
• Certifications such as Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, or ASQ Quality Engineer preferred.
• Reliability engineering experience or certification (ASQ CRE) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate contractual requirements into executable actions for project teams.
• Communicate requirements to engineers, manufacturing, purchasing, QA inspectors, and contracts.
• Work with project teams to ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Suggest improvements to corporate procedures to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Interact with customer QA personnel to understand requirements and address issues.
• Lead customer quality assurance audits.
• Maintain knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
