Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Quality Engineer for an aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer to support quality systems, investigate issues, and drive continual improvement on the production floor. You will partner with operations, manufacturing engineering, inspection, and supply chain to resolve quality concerns and support AS9100 compliance. Bachelor’s in Engineering and 0–2 years’ experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 0–2 years of Quality Engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or other regulated quality systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Exposure to FRACAS, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, or Six Sigma tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate quality issues, nonconformances, and customer complaints to determine root cause and corrective actions
• Support First Article Inspections (FAIs), SCARs, failure investigations, and MRB activities
• Analyze quality data, metrics, and process trends to drive continuous improvement
• Partner with operations, manufacturing engineering, inspection, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns
• Support internal audits, corrective actions, and AS9100 quality system compliance
• Provide guidance to inspectors and assist with day-to-day quality activities on the production floor
