Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Florida seeks a Quality Engineer to apply quality principles across design, production, and supplier networks. You will perform technical evaluations, lead investigations, and drive corrective actions to meet reliability and spec requirements.

You will review documentation, analyze data, conduct First Article Inspections, and collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to sustain quality standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or STEM.
• Experience with nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Familiar with AI procedure optimization software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiar with inspection methods, measurement tools, and statistics.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ability to train engineers and electronic associates on build techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for internal and external manufacturing processes.
• Update planning and work instructions.
• Analyze quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformances.
• Lead program parts review and corrective-action meetings.
• Ensure corrective/preventive measures meet reliability standards.
• Perform First Article Inspections.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality issues.
• Engage in product failure investigations and MRB decisions.
• Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
