Job summary

Blue Chip Talent is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead APQP activities and drive quality improvements across manufacturing operations and supplier networks.

The role is 100% onsite with some travel; candidates must be US citizens or green card holders. 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience and leadership are required, with expertise in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and related standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience in automotive, aerospace, defense, or a regulated industry.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.
• Familiarity with AS9100D, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AS9145.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, root cause analysis, and Cp/Cpk.
• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP processes, including PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.
• Manage quality requirements throughout new product development and production.
• Coordinate supplier PPAP submissions, approvals, and quality improvements.
• Develop and execute product validation testing and inspection procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead APQP processes, including PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.
• Manage quality requirements throughout new product development and production.
• Coordinate supplier PPAP submissions, approvals, and quality improvements.
• Develop and execute product validation testing and inspection procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality compliance.

Required Qualifications:
